Whimsy Home Wednesday No. 36

Welcome to the Whimsy Home Wednesday Link Party. Today we are sharing the chosen posts from Whimsy Home Wednesday No. 35.

My oh my... thank you for the comments and emails about the 10 things about me you may not know.  I was feeling the love all the way over here, you know over yonder.  The pup and I have been on a crafting frenzy, and I am not even sure how to share everything we have been working on since it takes a while to get it all ready, which brings me to a question for you, my dear.

I am afraid I will not get through everything I have to share with you this summer so I am asking if you would like to take a break from recipes for the summer, and focus on crafting?  I have so many ideas, my poor brain is overflowing.  Since I know so many of you enjoy summer and family gatherings I thought maybe we should take a break from recipes, and get all of these ideas out there for you to recreate too.  I will let you be the judge, just let me know so I can get started (comment below, send an email, hit me up on social, however you choose).  How exciting, someone else is making the decisions today!

Whimsical Home Projects From Our Features

Congratulations to the featured posts of Whimsy Home Wednesday! I enjoy being able to visit each post to see what other's are up to around the web. This week wasn't different from any other week for me. So difficult to make a decision on just one post.

Breathtaking, right?  I know, I wish I was perched there pondering the meaning of life with which I am sure I could extend into months, couldn't you?  This week I chose to feature Cathy and Soko with Life of 2 Snowbirds, Crater Lake National Park, Oregon.   I think this picture says it all if you ask me, but you must take a gander at their travels.

Cathy and her husband Soko travel in their RV all over, and share their adventures.  If you are like me and not getting out to travel, then I really encourage you to take a looksee, I enjoy feeling like I am right there with them seeing what this beautiful country has to offer.

    1. Thank you Niki, that means the world to me. I was told as a student my art work "sucked" by a teacher, and it really held me back for too many years. Now, I laugh because I could have been doing all of these fun things for way more years than I will get to, but I enjoy myself now.

  5. Super excited about your craft ideas, Cara! You come up with things I would have never even thought of. Sometimes I'm full of ideas and sometimes I struggle to come up with anything so several years ago, I started keeping all my ideas in one place so I would have them for the times I felt like I was in a creative drought and it really helps! As always, thank you for hosting and I hope you have the best week, CoCo

    1. That is a great idea CoCo, I think I need that right now, a book of thoughts. You are too kind, I really appreciate your comment. I went years thinking I was not creative, now I know I am in my own way. I may not be able to draw or paint by hand, but I can recreate trash, lol!

    1. I am so happy you join us Donna, you are so creative! In the past, I always enjoyed decorating our home, it was a stress reliever for me after work and on the weekends. Now, I have more time to get crafty, and I am enjoying myself.
