Whimsical Home Projects From Our Features
Congratulations to the featured posts of Whimsy Home Wednesday!
All the posts were beautiful, full of great ideas, and we are so thankful to everyone who shared! This is why it was so difficult to pick just five Whimsical Home projects.
These are our featured posts! They will each receive a featured button to share on their blog and be added to the Whimsy Home Wednesday Pinterest boards!
Kristin's pick came from Lisa with Fresh Vintage by Lisa S. Lisa shares how you can upcycle old books cast off and no longer wanted and make lovely organizers. I especially think they would be perfect for those diary writers, how unsuspecting is an old book on a shelve of books. I doubt anyone would look there for all of your secrets!
Becky's pick came from Niky with Home on Silverado. This scrumptious looking bread is one again, I think I will try. You cannot go wrong with a decorative Ginger Banana Bread. I love using bananas in breads and cookies as you know! Check out Niky's recipe and all of her helpful tips.
Cara's pick came from Marie with This Dear Casa. Marie shares best tips in drying lavender, and how you can use them in sachets, along with showing how to include it in wrapping gifts (see above for this lovely display). I have been wanting to try this myself since my mother has lavender in her yard. Let me tell you, it grows and spreads, and smells divine.
Charity's pick came from Rich and Donna with An Organized Season. Let me tell you, I wish I would have seen this how to before I picked up my bells. What a great way to DIY your own set, and make them look just like those from Pottery Barn and other various retailers.
Meredith's pick also came from Marie with This Dear Casa. Marie shares her how to in creating your very own eucalyptus wreaths. They are adorable and not as difficult as I imagined.
