Searching for gluten free cookie recipes? I have a box mix to share by Meli's with you that is delicious!
Have you tried boxed cookie mixes before? I have in the past and I always thought they were just... ok... until I tried Meli's Monster Cookies. They were very moist and had the perfect amount of chocolate in them! I am a big chocolate fan. I do not usually purchase boxed desserts, but I was in one of those moods where I wanted to try something new when I was grocery shopping.
You can find them at your local grocery store, I purchased mine from Walmart. I kept seeing this name brand advertised when I was doing my grocery shopping online and decided okay, I will bite... I will try something new. What do they say, variety is the spice of life? These cookies were pretty sweet to me since I do not usually eat cookies or desserts like this. My usual is sweetening cookies with fruit.
Meli's cookies were extremely easy to make. First, you will want to preheat your oven to 350 degrees. The only ingredients you will need to add is an egg, peanut butter, and butter. The box indicates to mix the egg, peanut butter, and butter in a bowl first, then add in the mix.
This is a large mixing bowl so you can see there was a lot of ingredients included in this box mix. After everything is mixed together, spoon on baking sheet and bake for 7-9 minutes. I baked the cookies for 9 minutes since they were on the bigger side. This box makes 16 cookies.
Yum! I thought we could use something different this week, a little something for your sweet tooth, and something I have not made before.
What is your go to when you are wanting something sweet? Chocolate? Fruit? Do you not have a sweet tooth? I will say when I went to dark chocolate, my cravings drastically decreased. I have always liked dark chocolate, but had never really made anything with the chips. I am a big fan of Nestles Dark Chocolate Chips! They are very smooth... if you would like to take a look at some of my "sweet" recipes, you can see them by clicking below.
I would like to make the Almond Cinnamon Cookies again so I can change the recipe. You can really do a lot with that recipe, like dipping half of the cookie in chocolate... who doesn't like a little chocolate in their life? My mom and Mr. Vintage even liked them. Mr. Vintage prefers the Chocolate Chip cookies since he says they are the perfect balance between salty and sweet. I think the Dark Chocolate Date Cookies are my favorite.
